Vallvidrera is a neighborhood of the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona, Spain. It is situated on one of the sides of the Collserola hills, which are considered to be the lungs of the city due to the abundant forests they have. This wealthy neighborhood has excellent views of the whole city, and on a clear day, it is possible to see Mallorca and the Pyrenees on the horizon. Although it is a residential place, it has important things such as the Torre de Collserola (a communications tower designed by the architect Norman Foster), the Tibidabo Amusement Park, and the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor. Vallvidrera can be reached by the Funicular de Vallvidrera, which connects at its lower station with the Metro del Vallès suburban railway with frequent services to the city center. The neighborhood is also served by minibus line 111, which connects to the upper station of the Vallvidrera funicular and the top of the Tibidabo hill. Beers are allowed on-premises, but no irresponsible alcohol consumption is allowed as this is not a party place (beyond the ones we organize for you) but rather a conscious community and a networking place. There are only additional costs if you agree to rent or buy things such as drinks, food, bikes, scooters, etc. Otherwise, there are no other costs besides the rent. All rooms are fully furnished. Snacks and other welcoming stuff is included but all other meals are not included in the price. One month of length of stay is the average. Yes, there is a laundry room in the building. No, we don't offer that service but public transportation from the airport to near the house's front door is only 2 Euros. Yes, that is one of the services that can be booked. Yes, there is a kitchen where you can cook your own food and store it. As long as you have common sense there are no specific quite hours. No, you don't have to clean the room on your checkout, we have a room cleaning service that makes a very strong and deep cleaning of the room so new guests find it completely clean and very new. Yes, we have storage for your luggage Yes, the communal area is cleaned daily (weekdays). There is a coworking space, gym, kitchen, living room, a social club that can have a cinema layout, garden, and fantastic terrace. No, we don't, but an entrepreneur or investor can come with some colleagues. We do have some parties organized for all. Up to a maximum of 20 people. Yes, there is a community builder/manager. Kids are allowed to visit but not allowed to stay in the coliving as it's a coworking space too. No, we don't allow pets. No, smoking and vaping is not allowed inside. As far as you keep them in your room, your belonging is completely safe. For sure. Yes, it gets blocked and closed automatically We are in Barcelona's mountain and you can go to citycenter and visit all the amazing places of Barcelona, you can go to Tibidabo at walking distance (15min from the house) or with the Bus 111 at 6min, or you can go to the natural park which starts in the house and make walking and bike trips that are amazing. You can also go to the beach which is 40min away in public transportation or by car in much less than that with incredible spots. You can go skiing which is 2h away in car. Catalonia has incredible places to visit that you can reach easily on car and even in public transportation. The building has an Airtificial Intelligence camera and alarm system that allows us to make sure there are no intruders entering and alerting both police and people inside if that happened. Anyway it's a very safe neighborhood in a safe city in terms of personal security, what can happen is a bit of pickpocketing in the city center of Barcelona, be mindful of your stuff when going there. At 7 min walking distance you have a good restaurant called Casa Trampa, and there is another bar that serves menus for lunch too.. before that at 5min walking distance there is another bar and a great ice cream parlor where they have other great stuff too, this is just in front of the mountain train station (part of the metro/subway system) all in the same direction.. then at 10-20min walking distance (on great paths) there are more options. We are 25min away of citycenter in public transportation so that is always another option too. From the airport to the house there is public transportation door to door, you can get the train and the bus to the citycenter (Plaça Catalunya) for about 2 Euros, and the same train ticket includes using the metro in Barcelona which will bring you to "Peu del Funicular" stop using Ferrocarrils Catalans (a sort of a fast metro included in the same ticket) from there you take the Funicular (mountain train which is part of the metro system included in the same original ticket you paid at airport) which takes you to the house, there you can walk 5min or if you are with heavy luggage you can take the bus 111 (included in the same ticket) for only one stop and it will leave you 50m away from the house. Overall door to door from the house to the citycenter (Plaça Catalunya) is 25-30min depending if you check when to leave to not wait, and to the airport it's around 1 hour. With the bike to the citycenter it's 20min going down and 45min going up (or 35 min if you put the bike in the mountain train which is a very cheap ticket, same as the metro system). The nearest airport is the international airport of Barcelona and it's 1h away from the house on public transportation and around 25min away in car, could be less or more depending on traffic. Taxi is around 20 Euros + luggage. Private bedrooms are cleaned once a week and can be cleaned additionally on demand (with an extra cost), they are also very deeply cleaned every time there is a change in guests. Yes, there is a coworking space with booths for calls and conferences. No, they are not allowed. Guests are allowed during the day but should be paying during the night. Yes, sure. You will need to add 1/3 of the total monthly price if you are sharing a room. For example, the double bedroom is 1500 euros for one person, If you would share the room, the price would be 2000 euros. No paperwork is needed.
