Your private loft in a French home

Welcome to my house built in 1870 and located in a private condominium in the 15th arrondissement known for its safety, authentic Parisian atmosphere and numerous local shops. Designed for a single occupant or a couple, the ROOM UNDER SKY occupies the whole second floor of the house and therefore grants complete privacy with an excellent WIFI connection. Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, it is ideal for a stay in Paris, whether for studies, an internship or simply exploring the city. The private and spacious bathroom is not ensuite to the bedroom but provides all the amenities you will need, including bath gown, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. The room fee includes free internet, access to the fully equipped kitchen to be shared in a friendly and respectful atmosphere. The spacious conservatory adjacent to the kitchen is at your disposal and during sunny days, the private shady garden is a perfect place for a cup of tea or a drink at the end of the day if not tempted by the pub or the French bistrot across the street. Should you be traveling with relatives or friends, the ROOM in the ATELIER on the mezzanine floor of the house has a single bunk bed and the bathroom ensuite will be shared with the guest occupying the room under the sky. Price is to be adjusted to guests' specific needs I greatly enjoy helping my guests discovering Paris for a full immersion in French culture and habits according to their areas of interest. I am French, retired and have lived abroad myself. I speak fluent English, understand Spanish and a little German, but above all, I am an unconditional green and pet lover and my pleasure is to provide an attentive and warm stay to anyone entering my home. Double Room (Room under the sky) with Private bathroom Large furnished and bright 25 m² room on 2nd floor of the house totally independent with a new double bed and a new mattress topper. . Capacity: 2 Rates: 490.00 Weekly / Monthly 2. Single Room (Room in the atelier ) with Ensuite bathroom Single bedroom located on a mezzanine inside the atelier within the house equipped with a dresser, clothes rack, desk, chair and lamp. Private shower is ensuite. The lower mattress can be used for an additional fee but for a short period only. Capacity: 1 Rates: 490.00 Weekly / Monthly House Rules: House Rules 1. - Your request will be accepted ONLY if you are legal age and if your profile shows a clear picture, similar to your passport's . 2. - Once you have received confirmation that the room is available, click on the "book now" button in the notification email you will receive from Homestay. Fill in your details and pay the booking fee online in order to have access to the selected homestay. You will then receive a confirmation email with your host’s personal details. 3. - The host will contact you to confirm reservation and provide banking details in order to settle the amount of the booking through a bank transfer IBAN. This is to be done within a week from the registration with Homestay in order to secure your booking. Banking fees, if any, are to be borne by the guest. 4. - In the meantime, you will be requested to provide a photocopy of your passport, your flight details with arrival and departure times, a civil liability insurance for a stay over 30 days and a copy of registration if you are coming for educational purposes If you have agreed that you stay for a month or less, you must pay the entire room fee at once, within the week of your registration with Homestay. If you want to cancel your reservation, the first thing is to INFORM your host and Homestay.com. For cancellation less than a month before arrival, a forfait of one week will be kept and 50% of the amount corresponding to the remaining period will be reimbursed after deduction of 150 € for banking fees. For cancellation ten days before arrival, there will be no reimbursement. If you book for three months or more, the room fee can be settled on a monthly basis on the 10th of each previous month and a one month guarantee deposit will be requested at the time of registration on line and refunded from the final monthly payment. If the guest departs before the due date, breaks any house rules or if the room fee is not settled on time, this guarantee deposit will be kept by the host and the end of the month too. Please note that long term stay over a month is negotiatable on a case by case basis. Deposit requested for the keys, refunded at the end of the stay except in the event of loss of the keys or other deterioration. Any damage caused must be repaired or reimbursed. An invoice will be provided to facilitate reimbursement through your civil liability insurance which is mandatory. My hosting is based on a spirit of mutual respect. Every effort is made to ensure that the stay is as pleasant as possible and leaves my guests with wonderful memories of their time in Paris. Therefore you are requested to respect the following house rules, which if broken, will command immediate departure. - Checking-in is to be done after 3 pm and before 9 pm and checking-out is to be done before 11am. However, exceptions are granted for long distance travelers and your luggage can be kept until the time of your departure. - Please let your host know about your move in and out of the house, especially if you expect to come home after 9:30 pm. - It is strictly forbidden to accommodate outside visitors or animals. - Keep the bedroom clean and tidy as well as the shower room and the kitchen which are to be left clean right after you have used them. - Smoking or vaping is not allowed in the bedroom and inside the house. - Make sure you close the roof windows in the bedroom in case of rain and switch off the lights you have turned on in the house. - Use of the kitchen is until 10 am in the morning and before 9:30 pm for diner, time being agreed mutually between host and guest. - Please keep your street shoes downstairs, by the entrance of the house. - No food, no alcohol, no drinks except water in the bedroom. - Any damages you may cause will have to be replaced or refunded against an invoice for your civil liability insurance which is compulsory. - Compliance with French regulations in terms of nocturnal noise is mandatory. No noise, music and loud voices on the phone after 9 :30 p.m. in the room and common areas inside and outside the house. Additional Info: Please note that because of its location on the 2nd floor and the shower not being ensuite, this homestay does not suit elderly guests or anyone with knee or leg problem.
