Cosy Studio in Sintra

Welcome to your home in Sintra! Just a few minutes from the Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira and one of the most lush forests in the world, we welcome you in a cosy private studio, where you will find peace, harmony and connection to nature. This is the perfect place for you to rest, venture in the heart of Sintra and enjoy your holidays. The studio is newly refurbished and fully equipped. It has one room (with a sofa-bed) that can be used both as a living room or as a bedroom, according to your preferences. It also has kitchen equipped with stove, fridge and washing machine, and a bathroom. Outside you can find a sunny patio, where you can read a book, take your meals or simply relax and sunbath. The patio is shared with me, which means that, in spite of having your own private space, you will easily reach me, may you need anything. We also have a very friendly dog, Flor, which will love to sunbath with you, if you would like to have some company. From home, you can walk to the heart of Sintra. I have a document prepared for you with some suggestions so that you can not only visit the most famous attractions, but also the hidden gems and secret spots. ___ The Neighbourhood - São Pedro de Penaferrim São Pedro is one of the most iconic neighbourhoods in Sintra, because of its nice atmosphere, good restaurants, antique shops and its proximity with the historical centre of Sintra, classified as World’s Cultural Heritage y UNESCO. In São Pedro are located several historical places of great beauty such as the wonderful Pena Park, where is situated the 19th century Romantic National Pena Palace, or the Chapels of São Lázaro and Santa Eufémia, the wonderful Lagoa Azul (Blue Pond), several amazing properties such as the Ramalhão, the D. Dinis or the Penha Longa Estates, the Cipestre Manor House or even the soaring Mouros Castle. The village is also proud of its Parish Church of São Pedro, and one of the first Portuguese Parishes, along with three other that the first Portuguese king, D. Afonso Henriques, built in Sintra, after the conquest of the village from the Moors, in 1147. Quite famous is the São Pedro Fair, that takes place every second and fourth Sundays of each month in the D. Fernando the 2nd Square. This is a fair which origins date back to the 12th century and where a bit of everything can be found. Room(s): 1.
